In our Men’s Ministry, we desire to create opportunites for men to build relationships with others while at the same time strengthening their Christian walk through service, both within and outside of the Bethel church family. Here are just a few of the groups offered:
BAND OF BROTHERS
Who are the "Band of Brothers?" We are men of Bethel who put our faith into action by doing odd jobs for seniors and others. We meet each first Saturday for breakfast (8:00 a.m.), followed by a short devotion, then head out into the community to be the hands and feet of Jesus. All men are welcome! If you are interested in joing the group, please contact Phil Fields.
UNITED METHODIST MEN
This group of men, young and young-at-heart, meet on the third Sunday morning of each month for a hearty breakfast, fellowship, and focus. Each month's meeting features a different guest speaker who brings a message on topics that range from discipleship to current event. Meetings begin at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. For information, please contact the Church Office.
If you enjoy the game of golf and are looking for an opportunity to get to know some other men in our church, then our golf outings will be right up your alley! We typically meet on the last Thursday of each month. If you're interested, please contact Don Yetter.
GARDENING ANGELS MINISTRY
Not specifically a men's ministry, the Gardening Angels is a group of parishioners of all ages who help maintain or improve the landscape of the church grounds. Volunteering can involve one-time projects or ongoing projects. Volunteers choose the projects that suit their interests and time availability. If you'd like to volunteer or to donate supplies, please contact Norm MacTurk.
