    A ministry of Bethel UMC, Conley's UMC, Epworth UMC, and Israel UMC, Camp Hope is an 8-week summer day camp for disadvantaged children going into 2nd - 5th grade.

    Camp Pecometh offers faith-based programming providing children and teens the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow while making lifelong friends, developing leadership skills, and creating lasting memories.

    Tharros Village provides an organized, supportive, and self-governed space for individuals experiencing homelessness. We promote dignity, stability, and community by offering seasonal shelter and direct pathways to housing, employment, and wellness services.

    First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges by seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum.

  • Friends of the Milton Public Library

    The Friends of the Milton Public Library volunteers support and advocate for the Library through various activities that include operation of the Book and Gift Shop, assisting with Library events, and promoting children’s literacy.

  • Habitat For Humanity

    Sussex County Habitat for Humanity volunteers staff the “Restore” and participate in building new homes or restoring existing homes for eligible and qualified families.

  • Harvest Outreach People’s Project

    The Harvest Outreach People Project delivers fresh food, hope, and dignity to families in need by utilizing distribution centers where “pack and pray” events are held leading to distribution of the fresh food.

  • Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations

    LRAC is a collaborative effort of local congregations to come together to serve those in need in the community. LRAC runs the New Life Thrift Shop, which funds grant support for the Community Resource Center and other eligible non-profits.

  • Meals on Wheels

    Meals on Wheels provides nutritionally balanced, home-delivered meals to homebound elderly and disabled citizens to reduce institutionalization.

  • Miriam’s Table

    Miriam’s Table feeds over 350 children every day and provides fresh water and antiparasitic medications in the Mpasa region of the Congo, which is described as the “poorest of the poor.”

    Pathways utilizes innovative and creative approaches in mentoring and education to help at risk individuals become healthy, productive, contributing and responsible citizens.

  • Ronald McDonald House Charities

    Complimentary housing, meals and support is provided to the families of children who are being treated at Nemours Children’s Hospital. Volunteer groups frequently support the house kitchen staff by preparing and serving a meal.

    UMCOR incident volunteers provide support and assistance to individuals and families who have experienced damage or disruption in normal activities due to any kind of natural disaster.

  • Village Volunteers

    Village Volunteers provide a variety of support serves to the elderly to enable them to age in place in their home.

  • Walk 4 Prostate Cancer

    The purpose of the annual walk and golf tournament is to raise awareness of the disease and provide support to families affected by a prostate cancer diagnosis. “PSA” screenings are offered by Beebe staff. The annual walk occurs in the Fall, for which many volunteers are needed.
